A fishy Cross-border e-commerce! Gradual Layoffs and 1 million sorry money?! Is that normal

A friend got laid off from a cross-border e-commerce company, I bet none of y’ll know about this company and so is my friends who live overseas - none of them know what the hell is this baggage thingy. So what happened is that he got laid off - after working for years and only receive 1 million as “sorry money” also gotta leave the company in 5 days! What’s worse? No BPJS TK although it’s stated in his contract - even worse? They were quite reluctant to give the SURAT PHK and Parklaring … even make a joke about it like “yeah you can hang your surat PHK on your wall” … how come such company exist? Lie abour BPJS TK, Lay off with no reason and refuse to pay the compensation with money reasoning but keep hiring. When my friend and his fellow lay off buddies plan to go to DISNAKER and BPJS TK - they tried to play the “ga kasian sama temen temen kamu? Kok tega sih?”, I got full voice record if anyone interested. What a scam company! Refuse to give anything on writing - only call and meet

“Sorry money” after years of work, no BPJS TK even though it’s clearly written in the contract, PHK handled like a joke, and everything done via calls so there’s no paper trail? Yeah… that’s not a startup, that’s a walking red flag company. At this point, Might be worth dropping a few hints about where this happened. Not for drama, but so people know where not to work and can dodge this bullet 🚩👀

Gatau deh pada tau engga … temen2 gue di luar pada gatau sih - pokonya keywordnya nama lainnya koper wkwkwkwkwkw denger2 HRD nya jadi nawarin kerja balik tapi terus tetiba ada KPI padahal selama ini ga punya KPI dan bersedia di tempatkan divisi random 😂😂 aduh adanya Voice Note lagi - yang jd pertanyaan gue, ini perusahaan legit gak sih???

Wajar meng mereka takut kasih surat PHK sama Paklaring, orang BPJS TK ga dibayarin. Kalo mereka kasih kan, kita yang kena layoff bisa klaim ke BPJS atas jaminan kehilangan pekerjaan, biar selama max 6 bulan dapet duit tuh dari BPJS.
