Staying Professional While Being Phased Out/ Red BPO

It started the day my manager told me I was going to be laid off, adding that the client had chosen the other supervisor (something that I shouldn't have to know). Nothing was official yet, I was still working, but the narrative was already set.

After that, my role became unclear. I was asked to keep helping the “chosen” supervisor to build their confidence, which I agreed to in the name of professionalism. But slowly, tasks within my scope were taken over, without discussion, feedback, or reminders.
I started to look disengaged, not because I lacked contribution, but because the space to contribute was quietly removed. That’s when I realized that sometimes “helping” isn’t collaboration, it’s positioning.

Now my focus is simple: stay until payday, then be done. Not every environment is worth fighting for.

Has anyone experienced being asked to stay “professional” while being prepared to exit?

Just hang on, been in that situation before. It's the game of strength just wait until you get fired to get the benefit or when the company force you to sign resignation please bargain for benefit, usually they will give you some.

Disengaged itu normal kl sdh pasti exit. Stay professional. Sampai hari terakhir pun setelah layoff dibicarakan, saya masih lead meeting. fokus untuk kerjaan baru
